Peanuts Baseball/Softball Class
Ages 3-5
Our Peanut program is a fun introduction to baseball/softball for any boy or girl. No hard balls will be used during this class. Wiffle balls, tennis balls, squishy balls and large bounce balls will allow the kids to learn while having fun and staying safe.
Program focus

- Fun! All players will have fun while learning and competing in various skills competitions.
- Baseball basics in throwing, catching and hitting.
- Introduce the field of play and infield positions.
- Introduce basic rules of the game.
Parents will partner with their child during all activities. This is a great way to bond with your child while learning how to teach baseball fundamentals through "play-time".

Munchkins Baseball Class
Ages 6-8
Our Munchkin program is one of our most popular classes. For baseball/softball players going into their first or second year of Tee Ball or Coach Pitch baseball.
Program focus
- Fun! All players will have fun while learning and competing in various skills competitions.
- Throwing, catching, fielding and hitting fundamentals
- Introduce/reinforce the field of play and infield positions
- Introduce/reinforce basic rules of the game
- This class is for kids in 1st or 2nd grade or 6 year olds turning 7. Kids who are 5 turning 6 or are in kindergarten should sign-up for the Peanuts class.
45 min class once per week, 6 weeks

Rascals Baseball Class
Ages 8-10
Our Rascals program is a great learning experience for baseball players going into their first, second or third year of “Kid Pitch” baseball.
Program Focus
- Fun! All players will have fun while learning and competing in various skills competitions.
- Throwing, catching, fielding and hitting fundamentals
- Intro to pitching – windup, stretch, strike zone, 3 strikes/4 balls
- Pitching fundamentals – 4 seam fast ball, balance & body control, eyes level
- Basic situational play
- This class is for kids in 3rd or 4th grade or 8 year olds turning 9. Kids who are 7 turning 8 or are in 2nd grade should sign-up for the Munchkins class.

Little Big League Baseball Class
Ages 10-12
The Little Big League (LBL) program is for baseball players going into their second, third or fourth year of Rec or Hot Stove baseball.
Program Focus
- Fun! All players will have fun while learning and competing in various skills competitions.
- Throwing, catching, fielding and hitting fundamentals.
- Pitching fundamentals – 4 seam fast ball, balance & body control, eyes level, holding runners and pickoff moves.
- Situational play.
- This class is for kids in 5th or 6th grade or 10 year olds turning 11. Kids who are 9 turning 10 or are in 4th grade should sign-up for the Rascals class.
60 min class once per week, 6 weeks

The All-Stars program challenges players through more intense drill work and competition. “Live” pitcher-hitter-catcher sessions will take place.

MEDINA SWARM CHRISTMAS BASEBALL CAMP
Baseball Camp Specifically for Medina Swarm Baseball Players!!!
Tired of the kids bouncing off the walls during the holiday break? Get them out of the house and over to Medina Sports Training Center's Christmas Baseball Camp! This four-day, fun-packed camp will keep your young sluggers active, engaged, and sharpening their baseball skills all while having a blast.
This camp is only for players on a Medina Swarm Hot Stove Baseball Team. Instruction will be provided by the STING Baseball Club training staff. This is a great introduction to the STING program and the training that is provided to all STING players.
Camp Details:

Flexible schedule allows players to attend around game and team practices.
Keep your swing sharp with the Hitting Maintenance Program (HMP). The HMP is designed to keep players in shape while offering a flexible schedule designed to work around game and practice schedules.
Drill work will be focused on reinforcing hitting fundamentals, body control, timing and the mental approach to hitting.
Each player will receive individual work with Coach Mark Thomas
You choose any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday class.

Travel Tryout Prep C
SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP
SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP
Going through travel baseball tryouts can be an intimidating process for any player regardless of skill level. Each travel baseball program operates their tryouts in their own unique way. As an example one tryout may use a pitching machine to pitch to batters where as one may choose to have a coach pitch to each kid.
This class prepares players for all those scenarios so they are ready to attend multiple tryouts with varying levels of drill set ups. Players will learn the many different ways tryouts are conducted as well as what coaches are looking for when evaluating players.
Players will go through "mock" evaluation events to better prepare them for the real thing.
Having confidence and understanding as to what drills will be run is key to allowing any player to relax and perform to their best ability.
Players will work on drills as it relates to the tryout process:
Mental preparedness, Long Toss, Hitting, Pitching, Infield, Outfield, Catching,
Running, tips and tricks.
Ages 8U-14U
