Coach Jessica Toocheck played softball for Medina High School and went on to play at Kent State University. She started every game of her four year career and was a three-time All-Mid-American Conference first team, two-time NFCA All-Mideast Region second team and two-time MAC all-tournament team selection and she ranks among the top five in several categories in Kent State's record book, including batting average, hits, runs scored, RBI, home runs and walks. She was named the MAC Player of the Year and a First Team Academic All-American in 2008 (.342 average, 12 HRs, 48 RBI). Toocheck went on to play two seasons for the Akron Racers.
Coach Jessica Toocheck has been the varsity head coach at Medina High School for 12 years. During her time, the team has compiled a 204-89 record, including three District Championships and one Final Four appearance in 2012 for the first time in school history.
Toocheck has given private lessons and clinics throughout her career and finds the most joy in seeing the development and confidence that comes from the players working hard and being coachable. She is passionate about the sport, but more passionate about helping girls become better players, teammates and individuals. Toocheck hopes to share her knowledge and passion to help other girls have the same experiences and opportunities through the sport of softball to have fun and make memories!

Coach Hailey Eckelberry was recruited and played Division 1 Softball at the University of Akron. During her time at UofA she made 2 ESPN/Sports Center top 10 plays in a game. She graduated early Magna cum Laude in Sports Management with a focus on Coaching and Nutrition. She also was a Four-year varsity letter winner as an outfielder and shortstop for Cloverleaf High School. In her final season at Cloverleaf, participated in the 2019 DII District Semifinals, hit .493, tallied a .615 on-base percentage, and a .684 slugging percentage … led the 2019 squad in hits (36), triples (3), runs scored (41), and stolen bases (29) … at the end of her career, garnered a .475 batting average, 162 hits, 27 doubles, seven triples, and 65 RBI. Eckelberry, a native of Medina, Ohio and broke the Cloverleaf record for most walks and steals in a career.
Eckelberry works with all types of hitters and also specializes in slapping, small ball, and speed.
She has a history doing camps and clinics from the elementary age to Division 1 college players. She has an intense passion for helping to develop players' skills to reach their maximum potential. She believes that no goal is too big, and also strives to evolve the athlete's game to the next level. She brings new techniques and a balanced perspective to help players be their best version themselves and have fun. Eckelberry is also very familiar with the college recruiting process and she shares her expertise in that field for those wanting to pursue the highest level of success.
