Coach Mike Schwamel

Coach Mike was selected by the New York Yankees in the 1994 MLB Draft after graduating from Holy Name High School. He went on to represent Team Ohio in Oklahoma before playing four years of Division 1 baseball at Kent State University. He also played in the New York and Great Lakes Collegiate Leagues, primarily as a first baseman and outfielder.

With over 10 years of experience coaching youth baseball, Coach Mike is committed to fostering personal growth and honing attention to detail, all while ensuring players have fun. His in-depth knowledge of the game, combined with a focus on mental approach, helps players build confidence and a love for the game.
